Free TikTok Video Finder for Viral Hashtag Stats

TT Stats overlays engagement rate, save and share rates, views/day, and a page-median summary on Search, hashtags, Explore, and public profile grids. No TikTok login. Install is free; a free account unlocks the math; Pro is unlimited scroll, filter, sort, and CSV.

TikTok grid with TT Stats overlay: views, engagement rate, likes, comments, shares, saves, and views per day.

Built for Search, not a channel dashboard

TikTok Studio is for accounts you own. This is for the grid you are already scrolling.

On tiktok.com

Metrics sit on the cards you opened. Search a niche, open a tag, skim Explore — no CSV upload, no extra dashboard login.

ER you can trust

(likes + comments + shares + saves) ÷ views on every post. Color: grey <2%, amber 2–5%, green 5–10%, cyan >10%.

Vs this page, not vanity followers

Median multiplier (×1.7 / ×0.4) is against videos loaded on that Search, tag, Explore, or profile grid.

Stays in your browser

Reads React props TikTok already sent to the page. No TikTok password, no cookie access, no video data uploaded.

How it works

Four steps. No TikTok login at any point.

1

Install the Chrome extension

Add it from the Chrome Web Store. It runs locally. It does not log into TikTok and does not fire extra requests from TikTok pages.

2

Open Search, a tag, Explore, or a profile grid

Each card shows views, likes, comments, shares, saves, age, duration, and AD / PHOTO tags. Individual video pages and For You stay dark.

3

Read the overlay

Guests see public counts plus a two-card ER demo. Sort, filter, and autoscroll stay locked until you register.

4

Create a free account for the math

A free account unlocks ER, page medians, and 5 autoscrolls / filters / sorts per day. Pro is unlimited plus CSV. Pricing.

Built for people hunting ideas, not auditing a channel

Same overlay. Three jobs.

Niche and idea research

Search a topic. Sort by views/day to see what is still moving, not only what already peaked. Save% and share% show whether people keep the clip.

Hashtag and Explore scouting

Open /tag/… or Explore. The panel median is that grid. Breakouts are posts well above it — useful before you copy a format that only worked once.

Creator grid after a hit

Found a video on Search? Open /@handle. The Videos grid gets the same overlay. Median is vs loaded posts on that profile, not a full-history API pull. /video/ pages stay dark.

Everything on the card, and a research console above the grid

UI follows the browser language: English, Czech, Danish, German, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Swedish, Turkish.

Results panel above the grid

Median views, median ER, median save%, median share%, median views/day, and a breakout count. Auto-scroll walks past TikTok’s first page so this table is the loaded grid, not one screen.

CSV is the leave-behind: video ID, URL, date, description, counts, ER, views/day, duration, content type.

Results panel above a TikTok grid: median views, ER, save%, share%, views/day, and breakouts.

Rank the grid from the rail

The sidebar stays pinned while you walk Search or a tag. Sort, filter, and load more pages without bouncing to another tab.

  • Page header — Search query, hashtag, or @handle so you do not mix two tabs after a long scroll.
  • Load more pages — TikTok stops early. Autoscroll walks further so medians cover the loaded set. Email: 5/day. Pro: unlimited.
  • Median views — Typical post on this page, not the lucky clip sitting next to it.
  • Median ER / save% / share% — Whether the grid is actually engaging, not only reaching.
  • Median /day — Velocity. Old posts that are still moving rise when you sort by views/day.
  • Breakouts — How many loaded posts clear the page median by a wide margin.
  • Sort — Views/day, save%, share%, views/followers, views, likes, ER, date. Email: 5/day. Pro: unlimited.
  • Views filter — Isolate a window (e.g. 40k–70k). Apply commits; typing does not live-filter.
  • CSV — Export the filtered set. Pro only.
Sidebar: page stats, autoscroll, CSV, sort, and views filter

Cards and the rail on one screen

Overlays stay on the thumbnails. Page stats, autoscroll, sort, and filter sit in the pinned sidebar so you can rank Explore or Search without leaving the feed.

TikTok Explore cards with TT Stats overlay and the viral-finder sidebar open.

Engagement rate on every video

(likes + comments + shares + saves) ÷ views. Color-coded so a high-view / low-ER post does not look like a win.

Page-median multiplier (×1.7)

Each post’s views vs this grid’s median. ×12 is a breakout on this page; ×0.3 is a miss.

Views per day

Views ÷ days since publish. Sort by it to find what is taking off, not only what already peaked.

Auto-scroll the results

TikTok loads a first page. One control walks further so medians and sorts cover the loaded grid.

CSV export

Video ID, URL, date, description, views, likes, comments, shares, saves, ER, views/day, duration, content type. Opens in Excel, Sheets, Notion.

Read-only, local math

No TikTok login, no password, no cookie access. Video data is not sent to ttstats.app.

Guest, free account, or Pro

Install is free. A free account unlocks the math. Pro adds unlimited scroll / filter / sort and CSV. Full comparison on Pricing.

How to find what's going viral on TikTok

Native analytics live in TikTok Studio, and only for the account you are logged into. That does not help when you are hunting a niche, a hashtag, or a format that is taking off this week. Walkthroughs: how to find viral videos on TikTok, Studio vs overlay, video analytics on a card. For a single post, use the engagement rate calculator. For tags before you post, hashtag analytics with Mixhtag.

TT Stats is a Chrome extension that overlays analytics on the cards TikTok already renders. Open Search, a hashtag, Explore, or a public profile grid. Raw counts show immediately, plus a two-card engagement rate demo. A free account unlocks calculated metrics on every card: engagement rate, median versus this page, views per day, save and share rates. Pro makes autoscroll, filter, and sort unlimited and adds CSV.

TikTok engagement rate formula

We use (likes + comments + shares + saves) ÷ views. TikTok does not print this on the grid. A 2M-view video with 40k likes is not the same as a 200k-view video with 40k likes — the second one is actually working. Color badges flag the difference so you stop doing the math by hand. Run the numbers on one video, then overlay the same formula on a Search or tag grid.

A 2.5% ER is typically average-to-solid on larger pages and on the weak side for small ones. The more useful number is the page-median multiplier: ×1.7 is outperforming this grid even if the raw ER looks modest.

Third-party TikTok analytics vs TikTok Studio

TikTok Studio is the right tool for your own account: audience demographics, traffic sources, Live and Shop. A third-party overlay is the right tool when you need a post-level read on Search results or a hashtag you do not own, without leaving tiktok.com. We do not replace Studio. We do not collect browsing history. The extension reads in-memory React state in your browser and never sends TikTok page data to our servers.

Who uses it

TT Stats is for people who look for ideas, niches, and formats that are taking off. Search a topic and sort by views/day. Open a hashtag and read save% against the page median. After a hit, open the creator’s Videos grid — median is vs loaded posts on that profile, not a full-history fetch. Same overlay, three jobs: use cases, the Chrome extension walkthrough, and the engagement rate calculator.

Frequently Asked Questions

How to find what's going viral on TikTok?

Open TikTok Search, a hashtag, or Explore in Chrome with TT Stats installed. Sort the loaded grid by views/day or save rate. The panel median is versus videos currently on that page, not a hidden full-history fetch.

How can I find viral clips?

Search a niche or open a tag page. TT Stats overlays views, ER, saves, shares, and views/day on every card. Sort by views/day to surface posts that are still moving; the breakout count flags posts well above the page median.

How do I see my TikTok analytics?

For an account you own, use TikTok Studio. TT Stats is for public Search, hashtag, Explore, and profile grids you do not control — post-level reads on tiktok.com, no login to those accounts.

Do I need a TikTok login?

No. The extension does not use your TikTok account, cookies, or password.

What is free vs Pro?

Guests see public counts on every card and full computed metrics on the first two cards. Autoscroll, filter, and sort are locked. A free account unlocks ER, page-median multipliers, and views/day on the whole grid, plus 5 autoscrolls, 5 filters, and 5 sorts per day. Pro makes those three unlimited and adds CSV. See Pricing.

How is engagement rate calculated?

(likes + comments + shares + saves) ÷ views. TikTok does not print this on the grid. Compare each post to the median ER of videos loaded on that page.

What does the page median mean?

Median of the videos currently loaded on that Search, tag, Explore, or profile grid. ×1.7 is above this page’s typical views; ×0.4 is below. It is not a network fetch of a creator’s full history.

Does this replace TikTok Studio?

No. Studio is correct for your own audience, traffic sources, Live, and Shop. TT Stats is for finding videos taking off on public grids without leaving tiktok.com.

How does the extension get the numbers?

It reads client-side React props TikTok already loaded to render the grid. It does not send video or browsing data to our servers. It does not poll TikTok in the background; new cards update as they appear.

Is my TikTok account safe?

The extension is read-only. It does not log into TikTok, does not touch TikTok cookies, and does not run when you leave tiktok.com.

What does auto-scroll do?

TikTok only loads the first results. Auto-scroll walks further pages so medians, sort, filter, and CSV cover the loaded grid instead of one screen. Email accounts get 5 per day; Pro is unlimited.

What is in the CSV?

Video ID, URL, publish date, description, views, likes, comments, shares, saves, engagement rate, views/day, duration, content type. Export follows the active views filter. CSV is Pro.

Which languages are supported?

English, Czech, Danish, German, Spanish, French, Indonesian, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Swedish, Turkish. Numbers and dates follow the browser locale.

Where does the overlay run?

TikTok Search, hashtag pages, Explore, and the Videos grid on a public /@handle. Individual video pages and For You stay dark.

How does Pro licensing work?

Create an account on this site. Paid plans are billed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. We issue an ECDSA-signed licence token; the extension verifies it offline. See Pricing and Refunds.

Is this affiliated with TikTok?

No. Independent tool, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok Inc. or ByteDance Ltd.
